Jimmy Medellin

It was never in Jimmy's plans to teach Yoga. It simply came as the result of years of learning. Yoga first arrived in his life, as what he thought, would be a complementary physical practice to a martial arts training. He quickly learned that Yoga had much more to offer and his curiosity to better understand it set him on a path of learning that continues to this day. In 2012, he took his first yoga teacher training, and has since participated in numerous trainings and workshops ‒from meditation to anatomy, to various forms of hatha and vinyasa yoga, as well as, complementary movement systems such as Functional Range Conditioning‒, all in an effort to better understand the body and dive deeper into the different layers of Yoga.

Jimmy maintains a steady personal practice and makes an effort to stay informed and up-to-date in what he teaches. He carefully prepares his classes taking into account the struggles and limitations that come with our western lifestyles, which is why he emphasis sequences that are gradual and offer progressions for every level. Jimmy believes in the transformative power of Yoga, and seeks to inspire his students to use it as a tool for cultivating self awareness, and living more embodied lives.

Tristan Milette

Yoga was first brought to Tristan’s attention by a good friend in 2011 while he was attending culinary school and working late nights and long hours in some of Montreal’s busiest restaurants.

The peace, awareness and serenity he drew from those first few classes inspired him!

Yoga soon became a pillar of his day-to-day life and helped him maintain peace within an otherwise hectic professional kitchen lifestyle.

In 2015 he completed his first teacher training and obtained many more since. In 2017 he became a full-time yoga teacher.

Tristan likes to connect with his students by offering them an opportunity to disconnect from their day-to-day thought patterns and worries and reconnect with their body, mind and spirit through controlled, mindful movement and breath.

haley schokking

As the daughter of an energy healer, Haley witnessed the profound effect mystical practices could have on the body and mind from a young age. She first stepped foot into a studio when she was twelve and since then has leaned on her yoga practice to guide her through life, on and off the mat. In 2021, Haley travelled to Costa Rica to receive her teacher training under Dr. Liz Lindh. Afterwards, she spent a few months instructing travellers at an eco-lodge in the Panamanian rain forest.

Haley is also a poet/author who uses her creativity to weave storytelling into classes. Incorporating yogic philosophy and breath work into her playful yet graceful sequences is essential to her as Haley aims to teach yoga holistically. She hopes to inspire students to find magic in the world and, above all, leave their mats feeling lighter and brighter.
